Greetings dear reader and nice one for reading this....
Ok so thats the niceties out of the way.
Now, I'm not much of a writer but after reading a good friend of mine's brilliantly crafted blog (you're welcome nick), i thought bugger it, i'll give it a go but you will have to excuse bad punctuation etc.
As the title suggests this is going to basically be stuff that happens in my bonce in written form. If you want you can leave a comment an we'll have a bloody good chat/debate because lets face it, we all love a good natter...
Now there is nothing i love more than the ol' freedom of speech. That is to say EVERYONE, man/woman/child/moose/liverpool fan is entitled to their opinion. That is not to say everyone's opinion is right, but simply they are entitled to believe whatever they want. If someone wants to believe that the colour of someones skin actually makes a difference or (the most laughable of all opinions) GOD EXISTS, thats fine you go ahead and think that mate, but while you do, in my head i'm thinking obviously a bit of a balloon-head, nobody of sound mind with the evidence available would come to that conclusion and I (which is the most important thing) certainly don't agree BUT... i will allow them to say their piece, and this seems to be the bit that people forget - the idea of a democracy is that everone gets a fair crack of the whip.
I do understand that the B.N.P have some dubious policies/beliefs/'morals'/values - but what i find amazing is that the people opposing one of them being on question time (all of whom i would say are opposing them for being either rascist or - more accurately - discriminatory) are doing the EXACT SAME THING. I actually think its worse to discriminate against someone for their ideas or thoughts than, for example, skin colour - the reason i say this is that there could be a genuine reason for not liking or trusting, lets say, a black man... If your only experience of a black man was the time you were beaten up by one you have a justifiable (if a bit ropey) reason to be wary of all black men... on the other hand were you to voice this opinion without prior explaining your reason, you would instantly be labelled rascist by those too quick to judge (or discriminate against) your rightful viewpoint.
And that, for now, is that...
Most of my articles will be along this line, not the bnp or rascism, but a bit of common sense - or more importantly a bit of logic (all be it my own unique brand of logic). I just think people these days are too quick to judge things without actually thinking about it first - with a bit of luck i will give you a few things to think about and debate with ya mates... Theres nothing better.
Much Love
